Richie Spice Will Continue To Turn Up The Heat on His Mini U.S. Promotional tour

Richie Spice will perform in 11 U.S. cities in 14 days from April 11-24th in promotion of his critically acclaimed release In The Streets To Africa. He begins in Boston, MA at The Roxy on April 11th, then to Stowe, VT at the Rusty Nail Bar & Grill on April 14th, Ithaca, NY at The Haunt on April 15th, New Haven, CT at Toad’s Place on April 16th, New York City, NY at SOB’s on April 17th, Virginia Beach, VA at Jewish Mother on April 18th, Ashville, NC at Stella Blue on April 19th, Cincinnati, OH at Annie’s on April 20th, Bladensburg, MD at Caribbean Crossroads on April 21st, Charlotte, NC at Tremont Music Hall on April 22nd, and ending in Winston Salem, NC at Ziggy’s on April 23rd.

Aside from his tour, Richie has a few spot dates and other major happenings around the corner. He performs in Philadelphia on March 24th at Pangea and on March 31st at Club Aquarium in Atlanta, where his smash hit “Brown Skin” and new album are currently #1 on the reggae charts. “Brown Skin” is currently receiving rotation on New York’s Hot 97, San Diego XTRA, Los Angeles KDAY, Hartford WZMX and at other major radio outlets as well. His other hot single “Youth Dem Cold” is currently at rotation on MTV Jams and is #1 on the voting charts for mtvU Freshman.

More raging reviews are out this week in Spin Magazine, hip hop’s largest site www.Allhiphop.com, and New York’s Village Voice. Richie has also been nominated for Recording Artist(s)/Group of the Year, Best Male Vocalist, and Most Cultural/Educational Entertainer at this year’s 26th Int’l Reggae Awards held on May 8th at Harlem’s Apollo Theater.
